What a hair gloss does

A gloss is the little treatment that makes a big visible difference. It lays a sheer or lightly tinted layer of colour over your hair and seals the cuticle flat, so the surface goes glossy and the colour looks fresh and even. If your colour has gone dull or a bit brassy a few weeks after your last appointment, a gloss revives it without a full re-colour.

The crucial thing to understand: a gloss deposits, it doesn’t lift. It can deepen, tone, or refresh, and it can add serious shine, but it cannot make your hair lighter. If going lighter is the goal, that’s lightening, not glossing, and we’d tell you so.
