A keratin smoothing treatment restores it: a concentrated keratin formula is applied to your hair, then sealed in with heat. The result is a smooth, closed cuticle that reflects light, resists humidity, and makes your daily styling routine a fraction of what it was.

Unlike a chemical relaxer or a perm, a keratin treatment doesn’t break or re-form your hair’s structure. It coats and strengthens. Your natural hair pattern returns as the treatment gradually fades, typically over 3 to 5 months.

How long does keratin smoothing last?

Results typically last 3 to 5 months, depending on your hair type, how often you wash, and your aftercare routine. The treatment fades gradually. You won’t wake up one day and find it gone. Most clients book a refresh every 4 to 5 months to maintain the result continuously.

Using sulfate-free shampoo and minimizing salt water and chlorine exposure will meaningfully extend how long it lasts.
